Željko Filipin talks with Bret Pettichord (CTO, WatirCraft LLC; Lead Developer, Watir) about Watir and what it does and doesn’t do well. Bret describes how people are building frameworks with Watir and the reasons why Watir was created in the first place. Also included are his thoughts on recorders and open-source and his new company, WatirCraft.
Note: When Bret talks about ssh, he is thinking about ssl.

I enjoyed the podcast. I was always interested in how wat-ear started out (cracks me up, the original pronunciation, especially because I’ve heard that from a bunch of French people). I like faucets, though I’m not married to it. I wouldn’t mind if you plugged that a little.

Dave, I am glad you liked it.
I am not sure what you mean by faucets, could you please explain?
Well done. I look forward to listening to the next installment.
